Blockade stymied for Now

Back in July I wrote about the blockade resolution against Iran (H. Con. Res. 362).  This past week the House decided to table this idea.  It seems dead.

While this is excellent news, and an answer to prayer, there is still much concern over US-Iran relations.

Watching the presidential debate last night I was disturbed to see both candidates sabre rattling against Iran.

This past week the courageous folks of MCC continued their dialogue with Iranians.  Let us not fear talking with those who might be considered enemies.  Isn’t that part of loving them?  Seems like Someone asked us to do that.
