Reading the Bible in a Year
The leaders of our church challenged us to read the whole Bible in 2008. I’m on track to do it. I have read the whole Bible a couple times, but this is the quickest I’ve done it.
It’s almost too much to take in. You have to average 3 chapters a day, every day of the year.
I’m finding that I am more concerned about the schedule than the actual content. Now that I’m getting close to the end, I intend to reflect a bit more.
Perhaps next year I should just concentrate on one book per month, savoring it in smaller doses.
What are the spiritual practices that help you maintain your faith?
