Canada Apologizes. Will the U.S.?
Today, the government of Canada officially apologized for the treatment of Native Americans (in Canada they are called First Nations), particularly the government-sponsored and usually church-run boarding schools. See the Globe and Mail’s article here.
Tragically, the US has not taken similar steps.

The Boston Globe has an article today on Ted Sorensen, speechwriter for JFK who was a pacifist. The article can be read here.
