As of late summer 2008, Congress has approved spending about $650 billion on the Iraq War. About $3 billion more is being added to that total each week.

2000 Days of Hell
By my calculation, September 10th will be the 2000th day of the US occupation of Iraq.
About 1 million Iraqis killed. (This is twice the number Saddam snuffed out during his reign of terror.) Several million have become refugees. Untold number injured both physically and spiritually.
