Canada Apologizes. Will the U.S.?
Today, the government of Canada officially apologized for the treatment of Native Americans (in Canada they are called First Nations), particularly the government-sponsored and usually church-run boarding schools. See the Globe and Mail’s article here.
Tragically, the US has not taken similar steps.
